Monday, FEBRUARY 8th, 2010

We are now closed for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. We re-open Friday February 12th for hopefully another Big Powder Friday!!!

Wow, what an amazing Sunday morning here at Baldy. Skiers riding both chairs in the sunshine could hear the beautiful Christmas music from the Fountainview Academy Choir and Orchestra, who were recording their Christmas DVD up above Maverick yesterday morning. The Academy, Mother Nature, and the Baldy Staff made this day enjoyable for everyone. What a treat to accompany the great froomed conditions and sunshine. Picture of the day is of the Choir and Orchestra and was sent in by Lee Mounsey. We look forward to the release of the DVD for next Christmas.

Dividend is today's groomed run of the day. Check out the Glades if you're looking for some off piste turns. Terrain Park is looking fantastic this year so make sure you get a chance to go try it out.

Today is Ladies Day. If you are interested in joining in please sign up at the ticket office.

For those getting rentals and a lesson please give your self at least 1/2 hour berfore your lesson to get properly fitted with your gear.  Nothing is more discouraging than sliding on poorly fit equipment!

The Sugarlump Quad Chair and Eagle Chair are running from 9:30am till 3:30pm with all runs open.  The Magic Carpet is open for beginners too.  If you would still like to purchase a Mt. Baldy Season pass you can do any of the following: Order your pass online or call us on the mountain daily between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm.  You can also pick up forms for Seasons Passes at; 

OK Tire in Oliver – Store Hours: Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 8 am to Noon.

Lunatico in Osoyoos – Store Hours: Seven days a week from 11 am to 6 pm. $25 and $50 Baldy Gift Cards are available at Lunatico today!
